Lori Aldrete
Lori Aldrete is one of two founders of ACS Quantum Strategies, LLC (ACS) headquartered in Sacramento, California. ACS specializes in marketing, public affairs, media relations and communications.
Since forming ACS with Lisa Yates in 2001, Lori has been involved in numerous marketing and public relations projects for health care, association and quasi-government clients including Sutter Health, Adventist Health, Centura Health, Sonora Community Hospital, Enloe Medical Center, Marshall Medical, California Hospital Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, Intuitive Surgical, Fresenius Medical, Gambro, Johnson and Johnson, California Physical Therapy Association, First 5 Yolo, NorthBay Healthcare and Sports Restaurants, Inc.
Prior to forming ACS, Lori was Vice President for Corporate Communications at Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) – a 48-hospital, three-state health care system based in San Francisco. In this role, Lori was responsible for all corporate internal and external communications strategies. Key public relations challenges faced by CHW during Lori's tenure included difficult contract negotiations with Blue Cross of California; the arrival of a new CEO and the implementation of a financial turnaround strategy that resulted in a major reorganization of CHW's corporate structure and senior leadership; a story by 60 Minutes; and the restructuring of CHW's Shared Business Services service line that resulted in a large number of lay-offs.
Prior to joining Catholic Healthcare West in December of 1999, Lori was the Senior Vice President for Marketing and Communications at the California Hospital Association (CHA) based in Sacramento. In this capacity, Lori served as the operations executive responsible for the management of the CHA Marketing, Public Affairs, Publishing, Membership Services, Volunteer Services, CAHHS Sales Center, Education and Printing Services departments.
Lori serves on the boards of the United Way California Capitol Region and First Northern Bank, serving Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Placer and El Dorado counties. She is a member of the Sacramento Press Club, the Directors Guild of America, the National Academy for Television Arts and Sciences and American Women in Radio & Television.
Prior to joining the hospital association in 1989, Lori was the Director of Marketing and Development for Sutter Davis Hospital in Davis, California.
Lori has more than 15 years experience as a television producer, director and on-camera talent. She has worked for network affiliates in several major markets, including Sacramento, San Diego and the NBC network owned and operated station in Los Angeles, KNBC-TV. Since 1985 Lori has frequently served as a host and interviewer on Davis DCTV public access programs including election night coverage, special live call in shows and This Week in Davis.
Lori has a bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from California State University, Sacramento.
