Lisa Yates
Lisa Yates is one of two principals in the firm ACS Quantum Strategies, LLC (ACS) headquartered in Sacramento , California . ACS specializes in marketing, public affairs, media relations and communications. ACS has been recognized each year in the Sacramento Business Journal's list of top 25 Public Relations firms since 2003.
Since forming ACS with Lori Aldrete in 2001, Lisa has been involved in numerous marketing and public relations projects for health care and association clients including Sutter Health, Adventist Health, Sonora Community Hospital, Hanford Community Medical Center, Enloe Medical Center, Marshall Medical, California Hospital Association, John Muir / Mt. Diablo Health System, Intuitive Surgical, Fresenius Medical, Gambro, Johnson and Johnson, California Physical Therapy Association, Association of California Nurse Leaders, San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, California School Board Association and the California Professional Association of Specialty Contractors.
Prior to forming ACS in 2001, Lisa served in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Integrated Realtime Information Services, Inc. (IRIS), a technology company providing Web-based communication, advocacy and legislative platforms. Additionally, Lisa was responsible for marketing, communications and business development. Through Lisa's leadership and client development skills, IRIS increased the number of clients it serves by more than 500%.
Lisa previously served as the COO for the California Hospital Association (CHA) and the California Association of Hospitals and Health Systems (CAHHS) for four years. In addition to managing a budget in excess of $12 million, Lisa developed new membership services to meet the changing needs of CHA/CAHHS' customer base. Before moving into the role as COO, Lisa assumed the roles of Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Grassroots and Executive Director of the California Political Action Campaign Committee. In these roles, she was responsible for coordinating and implementing several statewide grassroots campaigns and political action fundraising campaigns.
Prior to joining CHA/CAHHS, Lisa was the Director of Marketing for Health Management Services at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View , California . Lisa was responsible for coordinating the marketing and communications function for Health Management Services and for increasing sales revenue. Acting in this capacity, she managed the development of marketing collaterals and business-to-business sales and promotional systems and materials. Before serving as the Director of Marketing, Lisa worked in Southern California as the Corporate Director of Public Relations for a proprietary health care system.
Lisa has served in marketing and operational capacities for more than 20 years in the healthcare industry. She is a faculty member of the extension education program for Saint Mary's College in Moraga and has taught in both the Bachelor's program and Master's program. She also serves on the Sacramento Children's Home Board of Directors.
Lisa has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California , Davis and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdin e, Malibu .
